Release Soon
So, this game will probably be done in less than a month, I'd say. I was going to make more levels, but I'm already a bit burned out on the level design part and I want to move on to other projects. Looking back, it's a rather bland game. Nothing really stands out about it. But, it's an accomplishment because it was my first (and probably last) game to be completed using C# with Monogame. I've recently decided to start using PyGame. It's a Python library for games and from everything I've seen so far, I'm quite impressed. Plus, it's Python, which I've been curious about for a long time. I've already read through some Python tutorials and I'm very surprised at how much more simplistic and easy-to-use Python is compared to C# and C++. There's also a few bugs I've noticed in XNA (Monogame) rendering that I don't see in PyGame. Only thing is I'll have to rewrite the game engine I wrote in C#, but it shouldn't be too hard.
Anyway, I'll wrap this game up and get it out there. I don't think it's a bad game necessarily, it's still pretty fun. It's just that I want to move on to more interesting projects.
See you in cyberspace,
JC
